We are currently looking to employ a full time permanent Clinical Typist to work within the Medicine & Emergency Care Division. Clinical Typists are responsible for the production of clinical documentation and communications dictated by clinical staff through either traditional audio dictation or voice recognition software. These communications are a key part of the link between patients and their care.

These are the key areas that support the purpose of the job
- To transcribe clinical dictations using trust-provided equipment and
- To work to pre agreed typing targets whilst maintaining a high level of typing accuracy and
- To file and distribute clinical letters and supporting items as
- To audit and ensure the accuracy of letters dictated through voice-recognition
- To prioritise workload, ensuring urgent dictations are produced in a timely
