**Corporate Strategy and Government Affairs Specialist - London (Hybrid) - 12 Month FTC** ARM are recruiting for a Corporate Strategy and Government Affairs Specialist to join their esteemed Defence client in London on a hybrid, 12-month basis. Sitting within the CGBO BD and Strategy Team, you will be pushing the business' growth strategy in the UK and Europe. You will be working across the corporate office to help identify, understand, and respond to current affairs. To be considered for this role, you will need to have an interest in British politics, security, defence and Internal Affairs, as well as being able to hold and maintain SC (Security Check). **Responsibilities**: - Lead engagement with think tanks, trade associations, and Parliamentary bodies - Influence policy approaches, gather intelligence and represent the company - Government relations and stakeholder engagement - Identify key targets, support in the development and maintenance of relationships - Analysis of changes in politics and governmental policy - Provide appropriate political and economic commentary, as well as conducting discrete strategy and market analysis projects **Requirements**: - Degree level education of equivalent - Previous background within the following sectors and roles: Defence, Marketing, Communications, or Corporate Affairs. - Well-organised, ability to prioritise workloads within in a dynamic environment - Keen eye for detail - Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels and channels - Highly resilient and motivated.
