**Underwriter - I+P**

**Our client is a well known brand within Income Protection for the UK market. Our people are our greatest asset and as we start to review our future strategy, the time is right to bring an additional, experienced Underwriter into our successful Team.**

You will be pivitol in helping us to deliver outstanding practices and ensure that service is at the very forefront of our offerings.

**_What you'll be doing:_**
- Underwrite new and existing business in line with the strategic and client goals
- Support new business relationships by providing financial advisers with pre-sales underwriting guidance
- Working with the Head of Underwriting and underwriting colleagues, providing input into established underwriting processes and practices
- By maintaining an awareness of the importance of risk management, to bring any matters of concern to the attention of the Head of Underwriting
- **Your skills**:_
- You must have worked in a protection underwriting role, preferably with exposure to Income Protection products
- A supportive team member with a friendly character
- Highly motivated with a passion for driving positive change and customer experience
- Maintains underwriting knowledge with industry and market changes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
