Are you an experienced Formulation Chemist, with a keen-eye for detail and a passion for creating industry-leading products driven by innovative technologies? Simpson Judge are currently working in exclusive partnership with a well-established personal caremanufacturer based in the West Yorkshire region.

You will be a part of a small team of laboratory professionals, and you will get the opportunity to wear many hats in this role, with exposure to various aspects of the product development process including Research, Regulatory, Quality and Process.

**Key Duties**:

- Develop and deliver formulations to meet the customer brief, researching new trends, ingredients and technologies and incorporating these into NPD projects
- Manage the formula development from concept to launch, right through to production
- Liaise with other member of the team e.g. Sales, Production, Management etc. to ensure smooth running of the projects
- Conduct testing on products including stability, pH, viscosity etc.
- Organise testing and maintain accurate records
- Carry out COSHH assessments

**Key Requirements**:

- Scientific degree in a related field e.g. Cosmetic Science, Chemistry or similar
- Experience working on cosmetic product formulations e.g. skin care, body hair or hair care
- Able to develop formulas from concept to launch, following the NPD process
- Knowledge of Cosmetic Regulations e.g. CLP
- Great organisational skills
- Confident, driven and enthusiastic
