Service Advisor/service Reception

We have a great opportunity to join a very successful DAF Truck Dealership based in Bamber Bridge within the Service Department.

You will be manning the Service Reception desk alongside the current team of Advisors and spending time Service Administration, duties will include:

- Greeting customers in a friendly and efficient manner both in person and by telephone
- Assessing customers needs and booking in of trucks for repair or service work
- Preparation of job cards
- Communication of work to Workshop Foreman.
- Communicating with the customer at all stages of the repair for authorisation if needed
- Maintaining company databases
- Invoicing and general administration duties

What are we looking for:

- Experience of working within a similar role within the automotive/truck environment
- Good communication skills
- Commercial vehicle technical knowledge
- Positive can-do attitude
- Reliability
- PC literate
