As HR Director, you will report to the CEO and be responsible for leading a team of 4. There will be a focus on a range of HR activates including, Talent acquisition & development, Employee happiness and engagement, Organisational design & technology, Enhancingthe HR delivery model and customer experience, Providing a top quality technical support unit for new business transfers & Contributing to and supporting the company’s strategic direction

**Key Responsibilities:
- To provide strategic leadership for the HR function
- To attend Senior Managers meetings and provide HR advice on a strategic policy and practical basis
- Provide advice and guidance on HR topics to the Executive Team and Non-Executive Team
- Working with the Board to implement the HR plan along the lines of the business strategy using organisational development tools and processes to build a structure and culture that delivers on current and future business strategy and KPI’s
- Identify, create and drive workforce planning regarding topics such as compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent management, HR reporting and organisational design
- To be the lead advisor to the Board on annual salary reviews which are affordable and in line with the available budget
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, actively reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Design, architect, facilitate and oversee learning and development programs, including leadership programs and organisational needs assessments
- Navigate employee relations and balance the needs of employees with PossAbilities objectives, working to find solutions that allow for maximum mission impact
- Effectively address the performance management, succession planning and training & development requirements across the company to drive a high-performance culture
- Design, collect and analyse HR metrics to develop and deliver well-designed programmes and initiatives to contribute towards the business goals
- Design and deliver learning strategy to up-skill Managers to ensure employees are managed fairly and effectively to maximise performance and engagement
- Building and developing a high performance HR team to deliver day-to-day support and provide a top quality technical support unit during periods of new business transfers
- Manage organisational change ensuring alignment of structures, skills, values and behaviours

**Qualifications and Essential Skills Required.
- University degree (preferably Masters or equivalent) in HR studies, business or CIPD or equivalent
- Broad experience in a generalist Human Resources function working as a strategic HR Business Partner or similar function
- Proactive, results-oriented work approach, using key performance indicators as a steering and evaluation measure
- Recognition among colleagues as a business partner and change agent who brings immediate credibility and thought leadership to HR issues
- Track record of successfully balancing strategic direction with implementation and operational excellence
- Proven track record of work in cross-cultural and/or cross-functional teams and ability to quickly build strong relationships and also recognised for credible HR leadership
- Experience of working with similar industry compensation & benefits systems
- In depth understanding and experience of TUPE transfers
- Ability to interpret and explain difficult and challenging information to managers
- Experience of reviewing and drafting HR policies, procedures and guidelines and of developing and implementing systems (including HR IT systems)
- Experience with leadership training and/or coaching
