**HR Administrator (Maternity Cover)**

**We've been providing exceptional care in beautiful residential settings for over 50 years - and with a growing portfolio of care homes and care villages, we're looking for an outstanding HR Advisor to join us at the Harcourt Gardens Care Home in Harrogate.**

**About the Role**

You will:
Administrate the full recruitment process from advertising the posts to on boarding ensuring a robust, effective, safe and legislatively compliant process takes place.

Provide support directly to line managers to facilitate the early resolution of employee relations issues.

Develop good working relationships with all line managers and staff in order to be able to understand their needs and provide appropriate people related support.

Assist line managers in the management of sickness absence, including administration of the absence policy.

Administrate the training system within the home, ensuring all staff are up to date and compliant with all training requirements linked to their role.

Administrate the process within the home to ensure all staff receive the required supervision and appraisal.

Support in ensuring that appropriate staff data is available in a timely manner for payroll purposes.

Assist the Group Head of HR as required with the development of policies, procedures and measures to comply with new legislation.

Maintain commitment to professional development through appropriate CPD activity and reflective practice at appropriate opportunities.

You have a good level of education and are ideally CIPD Qualified to Level 3 or working towards this with an understanding of HR issues as well as of recruitment and selection process.

You will ideally have experience of at least 2 years within a HR function, although training will be provided, excellent IT/computer skills and an ability to organise, plan and prioritise workload, be flexible to the needs of the company.
