As a Credit Controller you will work as part of a professional, centralised credit control function from the Group’s subsidiary companies across the UK. You will also assist with the ongoing maintenance of the sales ledger.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Send replacement invoices as required.
- Chase and manage Aged Debt Google sheet ledgers.
- Maintain continual contact and relationships with customers, ensuring outstanding invoices are paid without delay.
- Allocate card payments to Sage.
- Carry out credit checks on new Customers.
- Cross check or produce non-standard invoices.
- Set up new customers on accounting systems.
- Raise credit note requests.
- Support accounts payable and income reconciliation functions as part of a shared services team.
- Encourage feedback on services provided and recognise the changing needs of the business and make recommendations to management for service improvements where appropriate.
- Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing with customers enquirers and relevant staff and interpret and respond clearly and effectively to requests over the phone or in person, and to verbal or written instructions.
- Supporting with other duties as the business needs require.
- Ensure fair treatment of customers, passengers, Driver Partners and colleagues and act in a professional manner at all times.
- Follow information security policies and procedures.
- Ensure legal and contractual compliance.
- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.
- Ensure completion of all mandatory training.
- Be willing to support other business areas as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that customer, passenger, Driver Partner & colleagues’ information is safeguarded at all times, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

**COMPLIANCE & DATA SECURITY**
- Be committed to maintaining our ISO27001:2013 certification and set high standards for Information Security compliance.
- Maintain Systems security to a recognised required standard in line with business needs.
- Support the execution of general data privacy processes.
- Ensure the ISMS fulfils the requirements of ISO27001:2013

**CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS**

Previous Credit Control experience.

Sage experience.

Excellent communication skills.

Flexible and willing to work as part of a team.

Strong knowledge and understanding of security policies, audits, and governance and RISK compliance frameworks including industry and security best practices e.g. ISO27001 & GDPR etc.
