This newly created role presents you - a Skilled Butcher, with an amazing opportunity to join the UKs largest foodservice provider at our recently established fresh meat operation in Wigan. Supervising a small team, you will use your butchery experienceand skills to cut and trim meat into specified product portions in line with customer requirements.

Ensuring all products meet our high-quality standards, as well as preparing fresh meat products yourself, you will also support the Butchery Operations Manager in training and developing the skills of the team in all aspects of meat preparation, packaging,and labelling.

You will also be responsible for upholding and maintaining the highest levels of health and safety, food hygiene and food safety standards across the operation, as well as the completion of documentation for compliance and audit purposes.

This is a fantastic role which combines your technical expertise as a Skilled Butcher with the opportunity to support the running of the wider operation - deputising for the Butchery Operations Manager.

To join us in this role you will have solid experience in the preparation of meat products as a Butcher or Meat Trimmer. You’ll have a good knowledge of health and safety, food hygiene and food safety procedures and an awareness of stock control processes.You’ll think Customer First and have the desire, passion, and enthusiasm to develop the skills of your team. ???????
