**Opportunity Summary**:
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer of Upland, the right person will enjoy leading and working with the EMEA sales team focusing on driving EMEA revenue in the Enterprise Sales and Marketing Business Unit.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Participate as a key member of the sales leadership team to ensure overall business success.
- Lead a talented team to achieve consistent quarterly revenue attainment.
- Collaborate with the senior leaders to maintain and increase revenue growth for the region while ensuring efficient operations.
- Maintain awareness of relevant market knowledge and trends, including but not limited to; evolving technologies, client needs, expectations and opportunities, shifts in the competitive landscape, and operational efficiencies.
- Drive a collective strategy through the sales region by partnering with the leadership team to establish sales goals, targets, and forecasts, to ensure individual and company sales objectives are met or exceeded.
**Requirements**:
- The VP of Sales must also have superior analytical skills coupled with strong business acumen. He/she will demonstrate a deep interest in and understanding of SaaS business drivers and levers as well as a deep understanding of sales quota models and compensation plans.
- The VP of Sales must demonstrate an ability to draw useful insights from raw information and data and create comprehensive reports, leading to the formulation of effective sales strategies.
**Desired Skills**:
- Consistently strong track record of success leading AEs, selling to senior executives
- Previous Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong customer references
- Previous experience selling multiple products to varying verticals and solution requirements
- Understanding of a complex, enterprise buying process
- Bachelor or University Degree preferred
- Highly Motivated and pro-active individual with a drive to succeed
