We are looking for a Brand Communications Assistant with a difference.

**Job Purpose**

To add new brands to our portfolio through virtual and in person meetings across the globe. Co-ordinating the transition of new brands into our portfolio.

**Responsibilities and Processes**

- Using the reports provided such as the Daily Sales Report, Monthly Sales Report and individual bespoke reports alongside the information found within Amazon and other platforms ensure that you are fully briefed and know the sales numbers for each of your brands inside out
- Ensure you are aware of and utilise all if the tools to drive sale for your brands to the next level and aim to exceed rather than meet targets set
- Understand your brand by performing a SWOT analysis to ensure all strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats pertaining to the brand are fully understood. Identify any actions which can be taken to mitigate weaknesses / threats and exploit strengths / opportunities
- To organise and request test-buys via the Head of Compliance
- Build a professional working relationship with your brands, emphasise that this is a partnership and that you need to work together with them to give them the best possible service and to maximise the exposure and sales for them
- Understand and utilise advertising campaigns, deals and additional support to aide additional sales, run and monitor campaigns and adapt these to increase their effectiveness. Report on the outcomes to the brand in a succinct and informative manner which promotes confidence in further advertising spending and show what could be achieved given successes of previous campaigns
- Offer regular, accurate, transparent, controlled communication to your brands. Ensure that you remain factual and set agendas or cover points you feel are of importance to raise sales and move the brand awareness and protection forward. Be careful not to be dictated to by a brand, aim to work in partnership with joint goals and measured outcomes
- Own your own brand protection on receipt of the MAP report, ensure that you arrange to retract any sellers if contacted by them and they provide proof of genuine items being sold and sourced, report back any genuine purchases with supplier information for the brand to contact the supplier to stop them offering provision to other Amazon sellers
- Using the master pricing calculator, ensure all new brands and those requiring re-pricing are correctly processed to provide the necessary data required for a C-Max upload to take place, this will include performing any currency conversions and chasing any outstanding data and performing checks to ensure the data within the sheet is reliable and correct, this is then passed on for approval and on completion uploaded to C-Max and checked by Compliance
- Ensure any pack pricing has been signed off and calculated correctly with profit margins and sense checks performed thoroughly ahead of approval for SKU generation if this is required
- Own your brand, make sure you have all the knowledge and tools at your disposal to assist in knowing every brand inside out, as if it were your own. Be an invaluable asset to the brand and regularly talk through new opportunities and where sales growth, awareness and protection gains can be made
- To train and support other members of the department and wider team as required
- To actively prepare for and participate in team, whole business, and individual meetings to ensure the progression of the business and discuss solutions to queries
- To support your Account Manager, and the other Advertising Assistant(s) and Creative Assistant(s) within your team in the provision of holiday and absence cover, to ensure continuity of service to our Brands across your team.
- To provide if required by the Head of Sales, cover within the department as a whole
- Ad Hoc duties as requested by the Head of Sales or member of the Senior Leadership Team
