We are looking for a dynamic & forward-thinking experience Trasnport Co-Ordinator to join our close-knit team. You will be controlling the day-to-day operation of the traffic desk profitably and professionally.
- Key responsibilities include arranging movement of freight from origin to destination, both international and national.
- Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers.
- Manage the day-to-day bookings of European and UK road transport jobs
- Ensuring that traffic diary is kept up to date
- Subcontracting excess work and ensuring that all paperwork is kept up to date
- Booking in deliveries and collections
- Export paperwork for customs clearance

**Transport Planner Position Requirements**
- Proven ability in planning routes and drivers efficiently
- Previous experience in transport planning
- Excellent customer service & communication skills (both with internal departments & external clients)
- Experience in a similar customer service role
- Microsoft Office / Office 365 experience

**Transport Planner Position Remuneration**
- Salary
- On-site Parking
- Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
- 20 days plus bank holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme
