We are currently looking to recruit a National Field Sales Manager to join our commercial sales team & support in the growth of our business. Reporting into the Head of Sales - Convenience, Wholesale, Discounters and Leisure, the role will manage the Worldof Sweets National Field sales Team.
This is a strategic role within our business to drive our digital agenda with our convenience customers, you will step change team performance recognising the changing ways our customers want to interact with us
You will develop and maintain a strong business relationship with our customers to ensure long term success and act as the liaison between the customer and key internal teams.
**Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities**
- Exceed budgeted sales and gross margin for the National Field Sales Team
- Drive the marketing product strategy for World of Sweets and Bonds, delivering best in class product range presentations and sell ins to the team and our customers
- Working with Marketing and the Digital team, drive initiatives that maximise conversion and use of the APP and Website
- Manage, motivate, and drive forward the performance of the field sales team, using all tools to maximise future growth (working closely with the Head of Sales, Head of Marketing and Sales and Marketing Director)
- Ensure commercial results are met against the core KPI’s.
- Attract, retain, support and develop new customers.
- Working with the National Account Manager and supply chain, maintain an accurate product forecast and promotional plan for the field sales team (AYR products, promotions and NPD)
- Working with the National Account Manager, develop profitable customer partnerships, creating win wins for both World of Sweets and the customer
- Demonstrate a breath of knowledge and understanding of the total business - focusing on the bigger picture/strategy
- Drive collaborative ways of working across the cross functional teams, ensuring alignment of goals.
- Working with and engaging others to strive towards best practice, via support, challenge and development, to positively affect the overall performance of the function as a member of the sales and marketing team
- Responsible for the identification of risks and opportunities and problem solving at a strategic level within the function and finding solutions to deliver and underpin the result required for the account/business.

- Work closely with finance team and using finance tools to assess which opportunities create win wins for the World of Sweets Group and the customer

- Numerate with the ability to understand and interpret P&L’s and financial management reports.

- Strong communication & influencing skills
- Ability to work well cross-functionally to deliver exceptional product launches
- Confident, open approach with the ability to influence at all levels
- Well-developed planning skills
- Actively strives for best practice in systems and processes, that are right for this fast paced business
**Skills / Knowledge**
- Experience and success in managing teams
- Strong Leadership and Negotiation Skills
- Highly numerate with the ability to understand and interpret P&L’s and financial management reports.
- Ability to impact and influence senior stakeholders and partners
- Strong Experience in sales and managing high performing sales team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong mix of analytical skills and creative flair
- Ownership of Budgeting process for your customers
- Good negotiating and influencing skills both with customers and internally
