Do you have advanced Supply Chain sourcing experience looking for your next career move? They have an exciting opportunity to lead their sourcing division as Supply Chain Manager. This position will be enhancing our Supply Chain management team, workingin their newly refurbished Nottingham office as well as having the flexibility to work from home.

Our client is part of the Hunter Douglas group of companies, a well-established yet fast-paced and expanding organisation, and as Supply Chain Manager for sourcing you’ll be the key point of contact for the Hunter Douglas corporate Procurement team. You’llhave has commercial responsibility for local direct and non-direct products and services, ensuring the right products and services are sourced to meet the needs of the business whilst identifying opportunities to improve sourcing costs.

You’ll be a confident communicator, with the ability to build and strengthen mutually beneficial relationships with external vendors in order to deliver success and maximise opportunities for the business. Never content on standing still, you’ll implementeffective SLAs and KPIs to their key vendors to ensure continuous improvement across their sourcing function, identify potential new products and services and opportunities to improve costs. Taking a collaborative approach and liaising with key stakeholdersacross the business, you will be personable and have the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels and from a wide variety of backgrounds.

As Supply Chain Manager - Sourcing, you’ll be leading a team of buyers within the sourcing division, demonstrating effective leadership to encourage and develop the team to deliver against department KPIs, whilst ensuring the team deliver first class serviceto their internal stakeholders.

Sourcing Supply Chain Manager - Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the sourcing for commercial local direct and non-direct products and services
- Control, build and strengthen vendor relationships
- Create and develop purchasing and stock management budgets
- Support internal customers to meet external customer demands
- Identify and develop opportunities to improve costs of products and services
- Identify potential new products and services
- Report on performance of sourcing function
- Create and develop service level agreements, KPIs and contracts for their external vendors
- Manage cross-functional projects from concept to fulfilment within agreed timescales
- Lead and develop 2 x direct reports

In this fast-paced environment you’ll need to be self-sufficient with a keen eye for detail, and used to working on multiple projects at once. You’ll have the drive and assertion to look for opportunities, inspire change and to have influence over the futuresourcing division to help drive their brands forward and continue their credibility as a market leading company for window dressings.
