An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent role as an Urgent Care and Flow Support Officer within the urgent care and flow team.

The post holder will be a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective delivery of the urgent care programmes of work, as directed and driven by the requirements within the BSW Urgent Care and Flow Board work plan

The role will provide business and project management support for the senior members of the team, working closely with providers across the BSW system, supporting the team to achieve ICS ambitions and the recovery of the UEC system.

You will have experience of operating as part of a busy project and programme management team, good organisational skills and attention to detail in order to support the wider team in delivery of the programme.

You will be a good communicator and be able to build and maintain good working relationships, across all system partners. You will be expected to work autonomously when required.

Due to the current workload, we are also recruiting a seperate additional fixed term Urgent Care and Flow Support officer role for a period of 12 months

The role has both project management and business management elements:
**Project Management**: provide project support in developing, completing and coordinating arrangements for the reporting of relevant work plan for the Urgent Care and Flow team and supporting the delivery of the Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) Winter plan. The post holder will also lead on specific projects and work driven by the requirements within the BSW Urgent Care and Flow Board (UCFB) work plan

**Business Management**: The post holder will be responsible for a full range of administrative and organisational activities to support the BSW ICS Urgent Care and Flow board (UCFB). These activities will include providing the administrative and secretarial support for the UCFB, including required governance to enable the UCFB to achieve its specified requirements.

The post holder will provide senior admin support to the UEC administrators when required, and key tasks as agreed with the Head of Urgent Care and/ Head of System flow and will be responsible for updating and oversight of the Urgent Care risk register and Information Asset Administrator

We work with health and social care partners across the system and enjoy the flexibility of working in an agile way where most of the work is done from home, but we meet up in our offices regularly or can work at and visit partner sites across our geography when required. Our expectation is that you would do the same, so you can be based anywhere but will need a good internet connection and be able to travel across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire when necessary.

- Provide project support in developing and coordinating arrangements for the reporting of relevant work UEC Work programme, including project workbooks, project documentation and highlight reports
- Support the UEC team with the production of and ongoing assurance requirements of the UEC Winter plan
- Secretariat of the BSW Urgent Care and Flow board, assisting the chair of the BSW ICS Urgent Care and Flow board in the preparation for the monthly board meetings, which includes the agenda formation, reports and presentations to ensure the meeting runs effectively, and will be responsible for timely outputs from the meeting in accordance with the terms of reference for the production of minutes and updated action trackers
- Manage and regularly monitor the Urgent Care Risk Register to ensure all risks are up to date
- Responsible for the Urgent Care teams Information Asset Administrator, understanding information and data flows to comply with information governance and monitoring
