**Credit Controller**
Based in Watford, Hertfordshire our specialist client are looking for a Credit Controller to join their growing Finance team on a permanent basis.
The successful individual will have basic accounting knowledge with good excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be IT literate and able to use MS Office including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook. For this role you will need excellentorganisational skills, the ability to prioritise and work under pressure and meet set deadlines
Job responsibilities:
- Run an aged debtors report on a daily basis and ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
- Handle disputed invoices and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
- Provide accurate information on invoice queries
- Updating sales ledger information using internal software
- Opening customer accounts with correct information and approval
- Communicate with all customers on a daily basis and maintain a good professional relationship
- Check bank statements, declare payments, update Cash Book, entre payments, allocation and reconciliation
- Complete month end process as required
