Butler Rose are working with a Watford based organisation, recruiting for the position of Credit Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to maintain a ledger, work autonomously within a wider team and be responsible for the collectionof outstanding debt across an entire business region whilst performing all associated administration relating to Customers. A good team player is required for this role, along with approximately 1 - 2 years experience within Credit Control and strong administrationcapabilities.

Duties will include:

- Reviewing aged debt reports
- Consistently monitoring agreed terms and ensuring that these are being adhered to by the Customers
- Identifying and highlighting any issues that may arise that could lead to the late payment of debt
- Regular maintenance of the Customer database to ensure that all information is up to date and relevant
- Performing a range of administrative duties in relation to banking and credit card payments
- Provide assistance to other areas of the transactional finance team

To be suitable for this position you will have experience of performing a Credit Control position, managing a ledger of outstanding debt and have a record of successful collections. On top of this you will also have strong office administration skills and theability to learn new processes quickly. Your communication skills will be very strong as will your IT system skills particularly with the use of Excel and ERP systems.
