**The Role**:
This role reports to Prismatic Finance Controller and will work closely with the Financial Accountant.

You will be part of the Prismatic Finance team and will have key responsibilities around ensuring financial transaction are updated on a day-to-day basis and accurate. The business is going through a period of change, with new systems and processes looking to be deployed in the next 12 months, giving a great opportunity to be involved.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Raise Sale invoices to customers, attaching milestone acceptance signature from customer to sales invoice as required.
- Process supplier invoices in the Purchase Ledger, coding to correct activity and ledger code
- Work with business to get proof of authorisation for payment
- Daily posting of payments to Cash book and Purchase Ledger
- Support the Financial accountant in preparing VAT returns
- Maintain tidy and orderly filing on all supporting supplier invoices
- Reviewing and posting employee expenses claims to the accounts
- Purchasing support
- Helping to prepare the monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Helping with VAT Returns
- Working with the team to implement process improvements
- Ad hoc finance duties to assist the Prismatic Financial Controller and Financial Accountant

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication and inter-personal skills
- Strong Excel and computer skills (e.g. pivot charts, lookups, graph population)
- Comfortable using IT systems
- Ability to work multiple tasks while maintaining delivery deadlines
- Analytical and problem-solving skills

**Desired Skills**:

- Financial accounting background, preferably part qualified in AAT, CIMA or ACCA
- Previous experience of using SAGE, particularly Purchase Ledger

**Job Types**: Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
