Builders’ Merchant Company Ltd is an independent merchant with 4 branches across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, with ambitions for future growth and development of further branches.

As a result of our continued growth, we are seeking a full time Stock Controller to join our team. Reporting into the Finance manager, you will be responsible for the accurate upkeep of stock information, the re-purchasing of stock to maintain consistent stock levels across the company and updating our website and social media platforms with up-to-date prices and offers.

**Duties to include**:

- Up dating supplier details and prices
- Setting minimum stock levels for high demand items
- Maintaining stock levels through centralised purchasing.
- Liaising between the branches and head office to inform of pending changes within the supply chain.
- Updating product prices on our website and ERP
- Creating and posting social media posts with updated offers and promotions.
- General Office Administration to support the Head Office Team.

**Skills Required**:

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
- Organised, structured, and methodical in approach when taking on a task
- Adaptable to working in a quick and efficient manner, prioritising the workload effectively
- Industry knowledge preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Be active on, and have a good interest in, social media.
- Hard working, enthusiastic and eager to learn
