**PMO Coordinator**

**SUMMARY**
The Service Development and Group Change function in Computacenter Group Information Services (GIS) is accountable for the proactive development of standard service offerings and changes aligned to Group strategy. This includes the development / change, adoption and operational enablement of major projects and programmes, both internally and for customers directly. The PMO function is an integral part of SD&C, responsible for effective governance of the Portfolio, using the DCF (Development & Change Framework) and associated processes.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Build understanding and confidence in the Development & Change Framework (DCF) & associated tools such that you can perform your PMO role effectively, as a recognised Subject Matter Expert.
- Able to onboard and train new PMs/PMOs effectively, providing ad hoc training or planned training sessions for larger groups as needed [including the creation of any training materials required].
- Demonstrate effective stake holder management.
- Undertake Quality Assurance activity to maximise the effectiveness of the DCF Governance approach.
- Champion, embed and work to support the evolution of the DCF, actively seeking feedback from across IS & facilitating Lessons Learned activities.
- Support activity on the PMO Configuration Library, using this as a mechanism to define and promote best practice.
- Provide timely and accurate support in relation to requests for resource, project time tracking, systems access and Sharepoint etc
- Support the creation of monthly PMO/Exec level reports and ad hoc MI - gathering/collating input, creating report slides, arranging meetings and supporting PMO Lead as required.
- Additional ad hoc support to business function and programmes/projects which impact PMO, the DCF, SD&C and/or Internal Projects, as directed by PMO Lead.

**CULTURE AND BEHAVIOUR**:

- Should maintain focus on making the Development & Change Framework (DCF) common language in GIS, working to champion, embed and evolve the DCF whilst actively seeking feedback from key stakeholders.
- Should support a culture of continuous improvement - ongoing development of own understanding of the PMO function, associated tools and wider GIS, to ensure maximum value is added across the business.
- Should Support positive communication and team-working within the PMO team, actively contributing to Team Meetings & supporting PMO colleagues as required.

**MEASURES AND MOTIVATORS**:

- All IS projects are following the DCF, unless agreed as exceptions through governance process. All Gate, Readiness Checks, Finance & other meetings which support the DCF are scheduled in a timely & effective manner; meetings are facilitated professionally & efficiently such that the required outcomes are achieved, with ownership of follow-up actions to ensure completion.
- All DCF artefacts & collateral are kept up to date, with a focus on best practice and ‘what good looks like’.
- Governance & control capability within PMO is increased.
- Effective & timely training is provided to PM community, in respect of DCF & Project Governance.

**Required Skills**:

- Proven experience of working in a Project Management Office and/or working as a Project Officer supporting the deliveries of complex technical programmes in a global environment.
- Proven experience of working collaboratively to achieve required outcomes on time, to budget, to quality standards
- Evidenced track record of executing PMO compliance and assurance, with a strong governance background.
- Comprehensive understanding of project delivery methodologies, artefacts and terminology. PRINCE 2 certification is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of working effectively as part of an international team in a hybrid office/remote working context.
- Demonstrable experience in communicating with senior stakeholders with clear written and verbal reporting skills.
- Excellent time-management & organisational skills.
- Proven ability to prioritise workload & multi-task as needed.

**Essential IT skills**:

- MS Office suite: Outlook, Powerpoint, MS Word with strong experience/skill in Excel & Sharepoint.
- MS Project experience is desirable but not essential
