The People Operational Excellence team within the People Function at Ocado, is responsible for ensuring all processes, systems and ways of working are efficient, effective and provide a consistent, high quality service to Ocado employees, managers and People Partners.
As the Business Design Lead, you are pivotal in ensuring that changes, improvements and new functionalities maintain a focus on areas such as user experience excellence, automation, security and control.
Reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence, you will be accountable for process design, improvement and change across impacted teams, systems and geographies globally, whilst ensuring robust, efficient and user friendly solutions that are well designed and implemented.

**What will you be doing?**
- Overall ownership for process design, improvement and change across impacted areas, systems and geographies globally, supporting process leads and owners.
- Ensuring robust, efficient and user friendly solutions are designed and implemented.
- Overall ownership of the Ocado Process Management Framework for the People Function, including process ownership and review.
- Working with the governance leads proactively reviewing engagement, usage and support data and talking to customers to identify issues / opportunities and then design workflows, mockups and visual solutions to address them.
- Working with the people process leads, group IT and key stakeholders to identify and define new features and concepts.
- Working with the People PMO and Employee Systems Product Owner in Group IT to develop and prioritise the roadmap for systems changes.
- Acting as design authority for People Transformation initiatives
- Leading the Change Advisory Board, ensuring robust review of change requests and improvement initiatives
- Work with the Change Team to capture change impacts across all people processes, and ensure we are preparing the business for change adoption, working with training and comms resources.
- Constantly iterate and improve on our existing work based on feedback from the wider team and end users, embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the People function.

**About you**
- Prior experience designing end to end solutions across processes and systems in an HR function.
- Previous people and user experience led approach to designing solutions.
- Experience of leading the end to end design process, from identifying the problem through to the design and execution of a solution.
- Previously led on ensuring solutions are well adopted and embedded through key change management methodology.
- Experience of providing direction to Process Leads, Business Analysts, Continuous Improvement team, Project Managers and IT.
- Have experience of working with project teams to coordinate approach, priorities and timelines.
- Enjoy learning and be comfortable with ambiguity.
- Be someone that constantly strives to improve and push standards
