**WORKING HOURS**:33.5 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday (Early Finish on Fridays 3pm)

**JOB OVERVIEW**

As the C# ASP.NET Lead / Senior Software Developera key purpose of this role will be to design, develop and implement software components that form part of the Company’s product portfolio. This is a very customer facing role. You will be required to liaisewith clients during the pre-sales phase, gathering requirements and then keep in regular contact with clients during the development lifecycle.

Working within a growing team of 6 Developers, as the C# ASP.NET Lead / Senior Software Developer you will be the project lead and play an instrumental role in developing extensible designs for software components and systems.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as the C# ASP.NET Lead / Senior Software Developer will include:

- Developing sound, flexible and extensible designs for software components and systems
- Developing industry standard deployment designs that are reliable, scalable and secure
- Leading and overseeing work in development projects
- Writing secure, stable, efficient and maintainable code that adheres to good programming practice
- Gathering requirements and business rules from customers and translating them into best-in-class software solutions
- Planning for testing early in and throughout the development life cycle, assisting in the creation and execution of test plans, including security testing
- Creating documentation of various types ranging from design documents to user guides

In possession of a documented programming qualification (or equivalent experience), you have a creative and inquisitive nature and pay attention to detail. You possess the desire and motivation to execute every job to the highest standard, and the flexibilityand ability to react positively to changing needs. A security mindset is a must, as is good written and presentation ability.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE**
- SQL and relational database design
- HTML, JavaScript and front-end frameworks
- Cloud Services preferably Azure
- Networking and Internet technologies
- OOA, OOD and OOP disciplines and methods
- Agile design and development methods
