**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to include Fleet of 18 ton tippers, 3 ton diggers/plant trailers and vans
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake checks, and tyre rotations.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle or piece of machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all repair activities.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and provide recommendations for maintenance.
- Keep the workshop clean and organised, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use.

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is essential
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- A valid driving licence is required; additional qualifications such as an HGV licence would be beneficial but not essential.

Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
