As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Setter / Operator to join their precision engineering team.Are you the right person for the job? Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Setter / OperatorStrong competence in operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathesKnowledge of driven tooling and single-spindle fixed head lathe technologyAbility to interpret complex technical drawings and machining instructionsSolid understanding of machining tolerances and surface finishesProficiency in using precision measuring and inspection tools (micrometres, verniers, gauges)An engineering apprenticeship or relevant mechanical engineering qualification (preferred)Experience with twin-spindle CNC lathes and sliding head (Swiss-type) lathes is desirable (exposure to Mitsubishi controls would be an advantage, but not essential)Familiar with automation, including robotic and bar-fed systemsKeen attitude toward 5S and lean manufacturing principles What will your role look like?
