- EFI Global UK offer fully impartial expert opinion on forensic investigations. We receive instructions from insurance companies, their principals, brokers, as well as direct appointments by loss adjusters, Local and National Governments, companies and individuals. Since 2018 we are supported by the international expertise, experience and excellent service delivery that the EFI Global Inc and Sedgwick Group provides.
- Due to continued growth, we now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Forensic Investigator conversant with investigations of a wide range of incidents, including (but not limited to) escapes of water, component failures, personal injury, fires and explosions. Our clients require clear and accurate technical advice and assistance with determining the cause of the incident, sometimes at very short notice.
- This is a diverse and challenging position that will involve the investigation of a wide range of incidents in domestic and commercial settings, ranging from low value insurance claims through to high value claims involving large marine losses. There is a practical element to the job in that occasionally you may be required to carefully dismantle machinery, equipment or component assemblies in a systematic manner to obtain the evidence that you require to determine the cause of the failure, fire or explosion. This practical aspect of the work also extends to the requirement to devise and possibly undertake tests, often with outside agencies or contractors, as and when the need arises.
