We’re looking for an experienced and motivated **Air & Ocean Freight Forwarder** to join our new team in Normanton, West Yorkshire. You’ll help businesses worldwide manage their logistics efficiently and cost-effectively.

**Role Snapshot & Responsibilities**

As an **Air & Ocean Freight Forwarder**, you'll be responsible for managing air and sea freight shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and providing excellent customer service. You’ll be at the core of our logistics operations, ensuring smooth, timely, and efficient transport solutions for our clients.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- **Planning and coordinating shipments** of goods by air and sea, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Serving as the **primary point of contact** for clients, providing shipment updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues.
- Preparing and processing **import/export documentation** and customs compliance through the Customs Declaration Service (CDS).
- **Liaising with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs agents** to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitoring shipment progress and quickly resolving delays or issues.
- **Maintaining accurate records** of all transactions using CargoWise software.

**Who Are We Looking For?**

You’re someone who thrives in the fast-paced logistics world, handling air and sea freight with precision. You’ve got a knack for problem-solving under pressure, strong customer service skills, and a proven track record in freight forwarding.
- **2+ years of experience** in air and sea freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in **CargoWise software** and **Customs Declaration Service (CDS)**.
- Strong understanding of **customs regulations and documentation** related to imports and exports.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to **make quick decisions** under pressure.
- A willingness to take the lead in **customer communication**, even in challenging situations.
- Experience or qualifications in **Dangerous Goods** (by air) is a bonus but not required.
