**Admin Assistant - Buying**

**Depot 1, Stakehill Industrial Estate, M24 2RW**

**What we are looking for**:
To support our buying team based at Depot 1 in Middleton, we are looking for an experienced Administrator to support our buying team. You will need to be well organised with previous administration experience, advanced excel, a keen eye for detail, the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy under pressure and not be phased by a constantly changing variety of tasks. The role would be based in our Middleton site on Stakehill Industrial Estate.

**Key responsibilities**:

- PO management - raising purchase orders on Sage 200 (daily) and placing orders with suppliers.
- Setting up product codes on Sage 200.
- Chasing suppliers on deliveries and keeping relevant departments updated.
- Updating shipping schedule.
- Processing shipping documents.
- Booking goods-in.
- Monitoring critical path and creating reports using excel.
- Approving artwork and samples.
- Updating reports on gold seal requirements.
- Nam/Merchandisers order book weekly update - updating & highlighting any delays with reasons/appropriate comments.

**To succeed in this demanding role, you will need**:

- Strong IT skills especially in Excel (vlookups, pivots).
- Numerate and high levels of concentration to evaluate large amounts of data.
- Excellent organisation skills - you’ll be organized in your approach which will enable you to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
- Experience in Sage 200 desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines to meet customer requirements.
- Flexible approach to work as a team player with ability to co-ordinate between functions and to undertake any relevant task efficiently, on own initiative.
- Good work ethic is essential, as is reliability and commitment to the company.
