Purchasing Assistant

Britton Price are looking for an Purchasing Assistant to support the smooth running of the purchasing department in our Brighton office.
The range of duties will vary, but will include:
- Ordering parts
- Organising delivery/collection of parts to/from sites
- Taking deliveries
- Preparing packages for collection from the office
- Ensuring storerooms are kept tidy
- Making stock adjustments in the system when required
- Support the purchasing supervisor where required
- Assisting with stock takes
- Ordering uniforms, equipment and PPE for engineers where required
As Purchasing Assistant a range of skills will be required, including:
- Committed and hardworking
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong customer focus
- Effective communicator, flexible and personable
- Excellent computer skills
- Good telephone manner
- Must work well within the team and be good at problem solving
- Previous administration skills required for this post
Full-time hours are Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00 - Friday 08:30 to 16:15.
