**About us**

We support adults of all ages with varying needs, from dementia, to physical disabilities, within their own homes. We are looking for caring, dedicated, conscientious and compassionate Care Workers to join our friendly team to provide person-centred care, and ensure our service users are always treated with dignity and respect. Providing care and support is both a challenging and rewarding experience. You will mostly work alone with the service user in their home covering Enfield, Waltham Cross, Cheshunt, Broxbourne and Hoddesdon.

**Duties**

Daily living tasks such as:

- **Personal Care**- Support service users with their care needs in line with their individual care plan. This may include assisting with personal and intimate care as required by the individual.

**Companionship** - Build professional relationships with service users, assisting with their emotional, social and spiritual needs whilst encouraging independence and choice. Assist service users with going about their daily life, from support with medication, or preparing meals, to helping them to keep well.
- **Community**- Accompany service users accessing the community and attending their chosen activities in line with their personal care and support plan.
- The list of tasks and duties is not exhaustive and may change over time depending on the need of the service.
- Must be warm, friendly and dedicated to providing high quality of care
- Must have a genuine caring and compassionate nature, committed to treating all service users with dignity and respect
- Must be self-motivated, well organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable and good at time keeping*
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Must be able to maintain daily records with accuracy and detail
- Flexible and approachable with a positive attitude, even under pressure
- Does not need experience - full training is provided
- Must be committed to own professional and personal development
- Must have a full, clean driving licence and own car - travelling between clients own homes
- DBS required*

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £10.20 to £12.00 /hour

**Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a care home setting**
