**Job Title**:Workshop Operative

**Pay**:£12 -13 per hour plus quarterly bonus

**Hours** - 39 hours per week Mon - Fri

**Job Purpose**: To assist in the overall production and despatch of customer’s orders

**Reports to**: Production Manager

**Responsibilities**
- Unwrapping and re-packaging doors
- Lifting products
- General Warehouse duties including housekeeping duties to ensure cleanliness and H&S of the site is maintained.
- Operating a range of woodworking machines
- Moving stock around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift truck may also be required
- Working to deadlines
- Delivering and collecting orders between various sites

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Proven work experience as a production operative
- Any previous joinery experience is advantage not essential
- Full EU Driving licence for 3+ years
- No more than 3 points on Driving License
- No disqualifications in the last 5 years
- A calm, level-headed approach
- Extremely motivated
- Heavy lifting and manual handling
- Counterbalance forklift licence desirable not essential
- IPAF 3a licence desirable but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and listening skills
- Strong attention to detail
