The Drug and Alcohol Outreach Service works alongside the Adult Community Service and the Young People’s Service to ensure that an accessible treatment offer is available to those who find themselves rough sleeping or in insecure accommodation. In this exciting role you will be joining a team of ten people who hold caseloads and work with those sleeping rough or in insecure accommodation, including emergency accommodation and hostels to offer harm reduction, assessment and access to a range of treatment options. As an Outreach Worker you will be meeting people in their space more often than in an office.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:
**What we are looking for**:
We are looking for a resilient and committed individual who has an understanding of the problems faced by individuals finding themselves homeless or in insecure accommodation and who enjoys a challenge. Experience of substance misuse would be beneficial though we will provide training. You will need to have a driving licence and your own transport as the post will include a good deal of driving.
