**Job Description - Roadworker/Labourer**

A P Transport is an experienced, council approved highways contractor providing a vast array of services encompassing groundworks, surfacing, tipper and plant hire. Operating throughout Gloucestershire and into Wiltshire, we are looking to expand our team in order to take on new work and to expand our capabilities.

**The Role - Roadworker/Labourer**

We are looking for reliable individuals, with a driving licence, to join our business as a Roadworker/Labourer in one of our Defect Repair Teams.

Your main responsibility will be working as part of a two-man defect repair team. The role is a manual one and you will be working outside, using a shovel, a wheelbarrow and petrol tools such as a stone saw and a compactor plate. Our defect repair teams work on the Highways network repairing potholes and other small defects such as kerbs and gullys.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. There is no requirement for staying away and night/weekend works are extremely infrequent and almost always optional. We will provide you with all the necessary PPE and equipment.

You will be based out of our yard, which is located on the outskirts of Cirencester

**Qualifications and Experience**

Other certifications and tickets that would be an advantage are listed below. However, suitable training and development will be provided.
- Streetworks (NRSWA)
- Any Other Plant/Machinery Tickets

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.25 per hour
