An exciting full time (37.5 hours) permanent opportunity has arisen within the Family & Therapies Division for the Administrative Co-ordinator for Serennu Children’s Centre. There will be an expectation to travel between the three children’s centres.

We require an administrator with a high degree of skill and ability to support the administrative work for the children’s centre. The work will be varied and challenging and the post holder must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with experience of working at a high level within an administrative role and a proven ability to work in frontline environments. The post holder will be confident working autonomously within a supportive and friendly team. Duties include providing a full range of high level administrative support to the team, organisation of clinics, minute taking and organising day to day centre facilities tasks. The role also involves line managing admin assistants and volunteers.
- Responsible for the day to day running of the admin and reception service at the centre.
- Providing administrative support to centre staff, using advanced IT skills and software programmes.
- Organising and managing the room booking system and supporting staff to use the system effectively.
- To work within priorities set by the centre team lead; to work independently and manage own workload on a day to day basis.
- Initiating and establishing new systems of work to improve efficiency and effectiveness to the benefit of the centre.
- To complete and maintain information on all ABUHB IT systems in use at the centre.
- To manage, co-ordinate and service meetings where required.
- To support the development of administrative practices in the centre, including the administrative practices to support collaborative working with other agencies.
- Being responsible for specific projects as identified by the centre team lead.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
