Emergency Department Co-ordinator

We are recruiting for Emergency Department Co-ordinator who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients and staff receive quality and compassionate care and work with us to ensure the Trust continues its journey towards great people, great place.
The role will involve shift patterns that include working weekends, evenings and night shifts. You will work as an integral part of the Emergency Care Floor clerical team to provide administrative assistance and first-class customer service to all those attending the department. To assist with the overall function of the department and ensure that clerical processes and support are available when needed.
We are dedicated to training and developing our staff and are keen to see all staff members reach their potential. We are keen to grow our own future workforce and future progression could result in roles such as a Clerical Coordinator, Business Support Officer and Operational Management. As the only Emergency Department and trauma unit on the Island, we frequently transfer to our regional trauma unit by air and sea. In addition, being on an Island offers interesting and diverse challenges ideal for those individuals who enjoy working on their own initiative and being resourceful.
