This is your opportunity to lead, innovate, and make a tangible impact in an exciting, high-stakes environment. **Why This Role?**: - ** Influence & Leadership**: Be the go-to expert for temporary works, providing guidance to contractors and leading a team of Temporary Works Supervisors. - ** Impactful Work**: Work directly on a project that's pivotal to the UK's energy future, setting standards for safety and quality at one of the most advanced nuclear sites. - ** Career Growth**: Collaborate with a wide range of professionals, develop expertise in nuclear construction, and lead by example in an environment that values humility, respect, and teamwork. **Key Responsibilities**: - ** Manage & Oversee**: Coordinate all aspects of temporary works, ensuring compliance with BS 5975: 2019 and CDM Regulations 2015. - ** Collaborate & Mentor**: Engage with contractors and stakeholders to maintain high standards, while leading and supporting Temporary Works Supervisors. - ** Problem Solving & Innovation**: Identify and resolve potential issues proactively, keeping safety and project goals front and center. - ** Documentation & Compliance**: Work closely with the Temporary Works Lead to ensure all processes and documentation meet project and regulatory requirements. **Skills & Qualifications**: - ** Experience**: At least 5 years as a Lead Temporary Works Coordinator in a construction or engineering setting. - ** Certifications**: CITB Temporary Works Coordinator, familiarity with CDM Regulations, and strong knowledge of BS 5975: 2019. - ** Leadership & Communication**: Proven organisational, mentoring, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire a "One Team" culture focused on continuous improvement. **Additional Qualifications**: - ** Desirable**: Confined Spaces certification and experience at Hinkley Point C or similar high-profile sites. - Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
