Temporary Works Coordinator

Ledwood are seeking an experienced **Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC)**to join our team at **Hinkley Point C (HPC), Somerset,**one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.
The Temporary Works Coordinator role is to ensure the overall responsibility and key contact for all forms of temporary works on the project, in line with BS 5975.
**Your new position will involve**:
- Responsible for the implementation of the Management of Temporary Works procedure and BS 5975
- Utilise the company/ client system for the correct execution and recording of the Temporary Works Requests and the Temporary Works Inspection Procedures.
- Ensure that a design brief is prepared properly and issued correctly.
- Ensure that all the relevant procedures, inspections and checks are carried out and meet the site/ legal required standards.
- Responsible for ensuring that all temporary works are coordinated and communicated effectively with the overall construction project team, including our subcontractors and client.
- Participate in weekly/daily look ahead meetings to identify and resolve temporary works
- Ensure any temporary works carried out is as per the temporary works design
- Report any deviations/changes required to the temporary works design
- Maintain and update temporary works register for all active and closed temporary works
- Liaise and coordinate with site engineers where temporary work design is required.

- The ability to drive continuous improvement in company processes relating to the role.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Desired 5 Years’ experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator or in an equivalent role with an understanding of BS5975 / CDM Regulations.
- Minimum of 5 Years’ experience working on an Oil/ Gas/ Nuclear Site, Turnaround or Project
- Valid CITB Temporary Works Coordinator certificate
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport
**Project Specifics**
The position will be based onsite, starting ASAP (_once clearance approval is gained_) through until early 2027
This role will be a direct report to the onsite Construction Manager.
**Working Hours**:11 hours per day, 10 days on 4 day off rotation (Flexibility is required to work additional non scheduled working days to suit the needs of the client/ schedule).
**Rate of Pay**:Basic Rate £31.27 plus milestone bonus and overtimes etc.
**Allowances**:Lodge or Local Radius allowances are also payable (depending on home address)
You will be required to gain your BPSS Site access clearance.
