Part Time Accounts Clerk

Delamode (SW) Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Accounts Clerk to join our Freight Forwarding office in Newport.
Credit Control function - Setting up new client accounts and performing credit checks, daily banking and allocation, chasing and sending invoices, resolving queries, raising credit notes, creating debtor reports.
Accounts Payable function - Setting up new supplier accounts, invoice processing, statement reconciliations, preparation of the midweek and month-end payment runs along with any ad-hoc payment due. Processing and coding overheads. Communicate invoice queries both cross departmentally but also externally to the supplier.
General duties - Electronic invoice filing along with management of the shared finance mailboxes. To assist the wider finance department with month-end, year-end closure as well as the annual audit. Ad hoc account/administrative related duties to support the growing business.

A professional team player who is self-motivated
Confident in challenging when appropriate and has great communication skills
Confident using routine formula in Microsoft Excel, with ability to manipulate data
Previous experience of accurately processing large volume of transactions
Experience of using Accounting platforms (desired)
AAT level 2 or equivalent or qualified by experience (desired)
