Our Homecare Pharmacy team are passionate about ensuring we deliver our Homecare products to our patients safely and efficiently.

We have a great opportunity for a Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team where you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with the administrative tasks around prescription management for our Homecare patients, including picking and dispensing our specialised liquid feed and nutrition bags (TPN) for delivery prior to a check conducted by a Pharmacist or registered Technician.

**Location**: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW - located just off Junction 35A off the M1

**Working hours**: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week. No bank holidays or weekends

**Here is what you can expect to be doing**:
Checking and book in Homecare products made in house and sourced from third party suppliers.

Creating deliveries for Homecare patients and generate paperwork to allow for picking of product.

Picking and dispensing medicinal products from the B. Braun Medical Pharmacy.

Following up any discrepancies, liaising with Transcare Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Senior Dispenser and Patient Representatives as appropriate.

To ‘post goods issue’ and complete deliveries, seal boxes, attach delivery notes and complete delivery manifests.

Arranging collections with delivery companies and to log and label products for dispatch as appropriate and hand out product to delivery drivers.

Participating in and encourage the use of the system for error/near miss reporting.

**What you’ll need to succeed**:
Have a good standard of education, with GCSE’s (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

Be detail focused with the ability to meet daily deadlines.

Be a strong communicator and work well as a key member of a team.

Be able to work under pressure and be able to prioritise their workload.

Applicants without a Dispensing Assistant qualification or equivalent will be expected to undertake this qualification upon commencement of the role.
