Workforce Transformation Lead Diagnostics

Are you an ambitious, enthusiastic, and organised individual with a keen interest in workforce andorganisational development? If so, we are seeking a Workforce Transformation Lead for Diagnostics to provide policy and implementation leadership on diagnostics workforce across the SEL Acute Provider Collaborative.
A significant programme of investment in diagnostic capacity is under way - the postholder will lead on a strategic portfolio of projects and programmes in support of the ambitions set out in the NHS Long Term Plan and Sir Mike Richards’ report onDiagnostics Recovery and Renewal.
This role will formally report to the SEL APC Diagnostics Lead, while maintaining very close links and collaboration with the wider ICB workforce programme including the APC Elective Workforce Transformation Lead.
The South East London Acute Provider Collaborative (APC) brings together the three acute providers to co-ordinate efforts across the acute provider sector (GSTT, KCH and LGT) in pursuit of the triple aim - better health for everyone, better care for all patients and efficient use of NHS resources, with an initial focus on elective recovery and diagnostic transformation.

The post holder will have regular contact with the following stakeholders (list is not exhaustive):
- APC Diagnostic programme leads and Imaging Network lead and manager
- Members of the Imaging network modality groups, Echo recovery group and Endoscopy Network
- Members of the SEL ICS Diagnostic Strategic Transformation Board
- APC Clinical Operations and Strategy Group members including the MD and Director of the APC
- Clinical and Managerial programme leads across the APC
- HRDs in each of the provider organisations
- Members of the ICS workforce programme Workforce Supply Workstream
- Health Education England (HEE) colleagues including the AHP Lead and Regional transformation Teams
- NHSE/I regional teams in particular the Imaging transformation and Imaging Academy teams

**Responsibilities**:
**On a day-to-day basis, the post holder will**:
- Support the Acute Provider Collaborative Diagnostic programmes and SEL ICS Imaging network to design and implement a strategy for workforce growth and transformation in line with the clinical vision and local priorities.
- Support the implementation of national policy and guidance throughout the design and delivery of the workforce strategy.
- Work collaboratively across the SEL ICS to ensure the strategy enables achievement of the national, regional and local service delivery targets.
- Develop evidence based strategic planning for workforce growth that is aligned to operational delivery of services, optimises skill mix and safe staffing and supports sustainability
