Essential Criteria
- Qualifications & Experience: QCF/Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and at least two years’ experience in a similar role.
- Communication & Teamwork: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to write care plans, risk assessments, and work collaboratively with professionals.
- Adaptability & Proactivity: Ability to respond to changing care needs, proactively safeguard residents, and manage incidents effectively.
- Knowledge & Compliance: Understanding of key legislation (Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Equality Act 2010, DoLS) and commitment to best care practices.
- Empathy & Emotional Intelligence: Sensitivity to service users’ strengths and needs, ensuring a supportive and respectful approach.
- Commitment to Professional Development: Willingness to engage in further qualifications and specialist training in Dementia Care, Autism, and End of Life Care.
