Bank Facilities Housekeeper
- To promote and provide a high standard of cleanliness on all hospital wards, clinical areas and other Trust premises.

To provide a quality Catering Service to In-Patients.

**Routine Duties**:
Vacuum/sweep,

Mop floor.

Floor buffing.

Shampoo carpets with extraction machines.

Low/high damp dusting.

Clean inside windows, frames and sills.

Clean furniture and fittings, mirrors etc, to include moving of furniture and equipment as required to enable efficient cleaning.

Assist in induction of new staff.

Routine cleaning and basic maintenance of cleaning equipment.

Attend all Mandatory training sessions.

Order weekly stores and put away on delivery

**Catering**:
To ensure, in conjunction with Nursing staff, that patients are provided with appropriate meals.

To ensure, that patient meals are served in a presentable and timely manner and that appropriate cutlery and condiments are supplied.

To ensure that all meal tables and eating areas are suitably prepared for meal times and to make sure they are wipe clean at the end of each meal.

Probe, record temperature of food and serve.

Record waste levels at the end of service.

**Standard Check**: £18 + Administration cost of £3.85 = £21.85. Deducted at £6.85 from 1st month salary and £5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.

**Enhanced Check**: £38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
