Their people are essential to the success of the business. They empower their associates to reach higher, push further, and achieve more. They are now seeking to expand their team bt recruiting two additional Design Engineers to join their highly successfulteam based in Milton Keynes.
They are looking to hire two Design Engineers, one specialising in Inside Plant (ISP) and the other in Outside Plant (OSP). They are looking for innovative, analytical, and organized individuals who can work both independently and as part of a collaborativeteam.
**Role**
**Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as set by the business
- Provide accurate and concise manufacturing documentation, completed within company Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Design and develop new products in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders and departments
- Complete New Product Development (NPD) project tasks within agreed timescales
- Create product Intellectual Property (IP)
- Limit product failures and minimize risk of design error through document accuracy
- Report monthly to management, stakeholders, and supply chain on project pipeline and status on NPD projects
- Assure new products meet performance and reliability objectives
- Evaluate Return Material Authorization for Quality Incidents raised against Engineering within QI platform

**Experience**
- A Mechanical Engineering degree is essential
- 2 years’ experience in design for the manufacture of plastics
- Modelling and simulation studies within SolidWorks
- Able to create manufacturing drawings as per ISO Drawing Standards

**Travel**

This role requires up to 20% of annual work hours to be spent between customer interactions (UK, Europe) and manufacturing locations (UK, Europe, APAC, and the US). All work-related travel is fully compensated.
