Mechanical Design Engineer required for a leading supplier of components to the music & film industry. The successful Design Engineer will be responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of design and manufacturing projects.

The successful Design Engineer will be required to provide mechanical design support and full design manufacturing documentation to facilitate the procurement of materials and manufacture of the Company’s products through the complete product life cycle.

**Mechanical Design Engineer - Position Overview**
- Create and maintain product design files and the associated library parts including PCB component shapes and manufacturing data on CAD
- Create drawings for the procurement and manufacture of individual mechanical parts. For internally manufactured sheet metal components create RADAN program and where new tooling is required create the specification drawing for Engineering/Purchasing toprocure by
- For parts that are made outside of Marshall assist in the selection of new suppliers and liaise with existing suppliers, from initial quotation stage drawings to full production drawing packages
- Create and maintain to an agreed standard the following documentation in support of manufacture from prototype to full production: Bills of Material, Assembly Drawings, Wiring Drawings, Parts Drawings, and any other documents which may be required
- Assist in the processing of RFCs and ECOs
- Provide mechanical and engineering support on tooling and production of prototypes for R&D
- Create up to date Manufacturing and assembly drawings when required
- Create, using schematics and part laid out artworks defined by Engineers, PCB Artworks and associated documentation to current design guidelines for external manufacture and internal assembly
- Output 3D deliverables for mechanical design files

**Mechanical Design Engineer - Position Requirements**
- Minimum 3 years work experience in Mechanical Design
- HNC or HND or Degree in Electronics
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solving
- Engineering background
- Based in a commutable distance of Milton Keynes

**Mechanical Design Engineer - Position Remuneration**
- Salary £35,000 - £40,000 (Dependent on experience)
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00 - 16:00, one hour paid lunch.
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays
