Amazing opportunity to join a modern fine jewellery store.

We require a passionate and motivated **Part Time Jewellery Sales Consultant**, to join us as part of our team - one day a week (flexibility around x1 day being week day or weekend), as well as one full weekend a month, alongside additional ad hoc hours.

Whilst part of this role is sales, you do not necessarily need a sales or retail background but a desire to sell a handcrafted luxury item is essential and an appreciation of jewellery is of course preferred.

For the sales part of this role, it is ultimately about offering very personable customer service and always making clients feel comfortable and at ease - it is definitely not a hard sell. We are very passionate about our work and offer a range of styles in both silver and gold at varying prices to meet a diverse range of clients’ needs. We also offer a bespoke fine commission service and so offering this service to clients and organising bespoke appointments on behalf of us is part of the role. Like most luxury retailers, fine jewellery stores can tend to get a lower footfall so it is much more about building a relationship and rapport with current clients whilst at the same time welcoming new clients.

Crafted by hand in the Cotswolds, _Pascale James_ is a contemporary fine jewellery brand with a distinct sculptural aesthetic founded by designer-maker couple, Antonia Pascale and Christopher James in 2015.

The narrative of their brand is infused with an environmental consciousness as the couple choose to work with only ethical materials - Fairtrade solid precious metals and responsibly mined, conflict free and fully traceable Canadian diamonds, crafting each piece to order.

Starting the brand in London, they recently moved their workshop in Battersea to the Cotswolds close to where they have opened their first shop. With Christopher James creating every piece by hand and Antonia designing and leading the creative direction of the brand, the couple work closely together to ensure each and every design and business decision is considered and harmless to the planet. Their designs subtly convey this passion for looking outward to nature and the environment and this can be seen in the minute detail of each piece.

The couple believe in an unhurried approach to true craftsmanship, deciding not to create collections in line with the seasons, instead focusing on creating pieces that are made to stand the test of time. They see their creations as honest heirlooms - made using only sustainable and ethical materials.

The couple also offer a bespoke service that sees them adapting some of their own signature designs for clients as well as adhering to more traditional aesthetics in crafting classical pieces or creating new from old in re-working heirlooms. They create anything from engagement rings and wedding bands, pieces to mark a momentous occasion through to wearable, everyday classics.
