**THE ROLE**

We are seeking a detail oriented, organised and motivated individual to join our team as a Buying Admin Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the wider Buying, Merchandising and Production Teams to deliver an exceptional product line. Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, this role is integral in ensuring the continued offering of desirable and on-brand items to our loyal customer base.

**RESPONSIBILITES**
- Provide full administrative support to the buying team.
- Raise and amend Purchase orders.
- Proactively track product from proto through to bulk QC - from supplier sample chasers to conducting weekly critical path meetings with QC and tech. Ensuring all key dates are logged and met in-line with the supplier seal and cutting deadlines.
- Manage a library of lab dip and strike off approvals.
- Assist with preparing product for sign off meetings - ensuring all samples arrive on time and presented as required.
- Liaise daily with overseas suppliers building strong relationships.
- Responsible for effectively chasing in samples and bulk fabric (in-line with critical path deadlines).
- Create PO Overviews to share with the wider business.
- Liaise with marketing and social to ensure requested samples are ordered and tracked from the factory.
- Sample management
- ensure all samples are organised in priority order for fits.
- Participate in weekly analysis of the market - feeding back to the buying team to develop awareness of competitors, key market trends and the target customers.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Degree or similar level experience - previous buying skills as a buying admin assistant or placement year in industry
- Understanding of our market sector and customer
- Strong administration skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills (considering daily communication with factories oversees)
- Basic understanding reporting platforms with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Experience using Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook
- Flexible and open to change
