Specialty Coffee Barista

**Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all sales.
- Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies, reporting shortages as necessary.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
**Skills**
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Latte Art
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Basic food preparation skills to assist in creating menu items.
- Proficient in basic maths for handling transactions accurately.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £13.00 per hour
