Our MHST is expanding, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic MHST clinical lead to join our existing MHST within Waltham Forest CAMHS.
The Clinical Lead will be responsible for the operational management and supervision of senior clinicians and supervisors. They will hold a small caseload of CYP with moderate MH needs. The post holder will work closely with the Head of Service to facilitate the delivery of the MHST initiative in Waltham Forest and support wider service transformation within the local child mental health system - this will be done in conjunction with and local service leads and managers
The staff will work as part of a MHST delivering, under the supervision of this post holder and senior clinicians, high-quality, brief outcome focused evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties in and around schools.
The MHST Team Lead will support the strategic development of the MHST initiative. They will work closely with operational leaders across CAMHS and with education to ensure that this new role and the new MHSTs are well established integrated into our service.
The training, supervision and service experience will equip the staff with the necessary knowledge, attitude and capabilities to operate effectively in an inclusive, value driven service.

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction.

High Cost Area Supplement - London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,108 and a maximum payment of £5,177).
