Underwriting Assistant - 12 months FTC

Salary between £26,000 and £33,000

We are looking for an Underwriting Assistant to join our team This role will open doors to numerous opportunities for growth and development including working towards underwriting license levels as appropriate.

A bit about the job:
Your role will include dealing with New Business for brokers and customers whilst collaborating within our high performing team to support in delivering financials. You will be encouraged to embrace and understand Mid-Market strategies and be accountable for day-to-day underwriting activities.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

- Previous underwriting experience
- Knowledge of the FCA and other relevant regulation and legislation desirable but not essential
- Proven record of delivering excellent customer outcomes
- Excellent communication, listening, time management and negotiating skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a large complex organisation
- The ability to communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers
