**Job summary**:
These roles offer an exciting opportunity for experienced trainers to actively support the education and training of the National Cyber Force and other MOD elements of the cyber workforce. Defence Cyber training matters Applicants will be expected to directly support the delivery outputs of the CFP through high quality training and detailed documentation. There will be lots of opportunity to build your own cyber knowledge as you grow in your role as a cyber trainer. Initially this will be through the delivery of the DCA’s Cyber Foundation Pathway (CFP) and its building block approach to the upskilling of people entering their cyber career.

As might be imagined, this is a fast-moving area with frequently updated policy and guidance. As cyber moves forward so the needs of defence change - there will be opportunity to be involved with the development and improvement the courses we deliver. You will be at the forefront of developing Defence cyber personnel. The DCA is a dynamic and exciting place to work

**Job description**:
To provide high fidelity, practical, learning outcomes as a primary deliverer of the Defence Cyber Academy, Cyber Foundation Pathway. The role additionally assists in the maintenance and management of all supporting materials, equipment and classrooms. Role holders are expected to collaborate as required in the development of new learning outcomes. In detail, the role will cover:
1. To provide high fidelity learning outcomes as a Defence Cyber Academy Instructor, in support of the agreed Statement of Training Requirement (SoTR) for the DCA Cyber Foundation Pathway (CFP). Such learning may be delivered in an online or traditional classroom environment. Provide suitable lesson planning to support the learning outputs.

2. Support the design, development, organisation, management, delivery and continuous improvement of the DCA CFP and future courses as they are developed. Engage effectively with Partners Across Government (PAG) and other stakeholders as required to ensure learning requirements are fully understood and met through the DCA curriculum development and course content.

3. As a DCA Instructor, maintain relevant learning materials and configure teaching environments as required to support all applicable SOTR and non-SOTR (pilot) authorised requests. Support JSP822 documentation requirements as appropriate for CFP outputs and keep appropriate records of learning outputs as required.

4. Support the maintenance and updating of the existing classroom facilities and infrastructure to fulfil current and planned learning requirements and facilitate blended learning techniques and modern delivery platforms and facilities.

5. Support the Training Delivery Authority (TDA) for DCA courses by compiling appropriate feedback and statistics, and undertaking observations and internal validation as required. Assess other learning programs for suitability of use by DCA in support of requested training or related tasks.

6. Attend meetings, conferences, events and CDP activities pertinent to the role and in support of SEO Cyber Education in order to maintain currency, corporate knowledge, personal skills and professional associations (e.g. CIPD, BCS, CISSP, SANS etc) that directly support the role and wider DCA team considering the rapidly evolving threat environment in cyber space.

Due to the ever-changing world of cyber, the Defence Cyber Academy is a growing organisation seeking to deliver a wider portfolio of high quality cyber training to defence. As cyber develops, so does the needs of defence and, as a result, the DCA are expanding their course prospectus.

Trainers are responsible for building the cadre of suitably qualified personnel to support the National Cyber Force, Defence Digital, and Single Service Cyber Protection Teams. This is mainly achieved through the delivery of the Cyber Foundation Pathway (CFP) series of courses; students can further their learning through the more specialised courses we currently run and, in the future, those courses we are in the business of creating.
