Our wards are looking for Healthcare Support Workers with roles available at Award Winning Haywood Hospital and our neighboring site, Cheadle Hospital.

Permanent and Fixed Term Contracts available

Experience in care would help you in this role howeverwe also have opportunities available if you have noformal care experience but have good communication skills, a positive attitude and the genuine desire to care. The option to complete your care certificate within the role is open to everyone.

- To monitor patients and report any changes that identify the need for review of the patient’s care.
- Ensure peoples comfort, safety and dignity whilst also maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Enable, encourage and / or assist patients (where appropriate) with personal care such as; bathing, showering, toileting, hygiene continence care, skin integrity, meal prep and medication.
- Assist / support or prompt the patient in managing medication
